Dr. David Kuo, Advisory Committee Member

After earning his PhD in chemistry from Imperial College London, Dr. Kuo opted to work at Hilton Group’s Horse Racing division in Britain. He was later hired by Motley Fool Britain as a financial analyst because of his deep understanding of the booming biotechnology and online gaming sectors. Dr. Kuo then moved back to Singapore after spending 15 years in Britain, to set up Motley Fool Singapore.  As a champion of long-term income investing, Dr. Kuo’s views are regularly sought by broadcasters around the world. His weekly newsletter Take Stock Singapore is read by thousands and he also has a column in The Straits Times.

Mr. Benny Teo, Advisory Committee Member

Mr. Benny Teo has over 30 years of Accounting and Finance experience at global listed companies such as E&Y, Nike, Omnicon and The Hour Glass. He has proven expertise in driving efficiency and productivity through evaluation of financial management systems and implementation of process improvements. He is a talented leader adept at directing highly skilled financial management teams to support achievement of overall corporate goals and objectives. He last role serving as the Compliance and Risk Management Director at Orchard Global Asset Management.

Mr. Leow Kim Keat , Advisory Committee Member

After completing a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry and Math) at National University of Singapore, Mr Leow went on to pursue a career in the Semiconductor Industry with over 32 years of experience in test operations, supply chain and procurement management in various Multi-National Listed Companies such as Texas Instrument, Chartered Semiconductor and GlobalFoundries. Mr Leow spent most of his career in key customer and supplier facing roles where he helped his companies to reduce costs, restructure and streamline operations, and developed a strong reputation of trust due to his working style and integrity.

Mr. Choong Chan Yong, Advisory Committee Member

After completing his Bachelor of Science (Industrial and Systems Engineering) in Ohio State University, Mr Choong built his career in the Semiconductor Industry with over 30 years of experience in sales, corporate and business development, and supply chain management in various Multi-National Companies such as Texas Instrument, STATSChippac Ltd and JCET Group Co Ltd.

At his last position at JCET as VP Procurement, Mr Choong led global teams across plants in China, Korea and Singapore to negotiate and achieve synergistic cost reduction and harmonize processess for all common materials and equipment.

Mr. Koh Teck Chuan, Advisory Committee Member

Mr Koh graduated with a Master of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) degree from the National University of Singapore. Mr Koh previously held top positions at MCL Land Limited, Cycle & Carriage Industries Pte. Ltd. and Frasers Hospitality.  At his last position as CEO of Frasers Hospitality, he was responsible for the Group’s hospitality business, from investment and business development to global expansion of its chain of serviced residences and hotels worldwide. During his tenure, Mr Koh strengthened the leadership bench at Frasers Hospitality, set a clear geographic governance structure and kickstarted Frasers Hospitality’s digital roadmap that would enhance current marketing platforms and operational efficiencies.
